2026 SAGE Early Career Trajectory Award

Eligibility
- Only self-nominations are allowed.
- Applicants must be between 4 and 6 years post-PhD, by October of the academic year in which they apply for the award. For the 2026 award cycle (nominations open February 2026 and close in April 2026), eligible candidates will have received their PhD between October 2019 and September 2022 (inclusive).
- Applicants must be members of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology at the time they apply for the award.
- Previous recipients of the SAGE Emerging Scholar Award are eligible for the Trajectory Award. Previous recipients of the SAGE Early Career Trajectory Award and/or the SAGE Young Scholar Award are not eligible to win again. Applicants will be asked to disclose if they have previously won any other SPSP awards. Applicants who have previously been awarded the SAGE Emerging Scholar Award will be asked to provide a brief statement on achievements since receiving the award.
Required Materials
- A 500-word essay is required for each category chosen (research, teaching, and/or service).
- Optional 150-word statement on the context of the achievements.
- CV (no page limit) that contains clear headings of Research, Teaching, and Service.
